You can also visit the Tropical Plant-house and the gift shop while you are here. Go Ape High Wire Adventure
If you enjoy adventure, then you must visit the Go Ape High Wire Adventure Park. You can easily get to the park if you choose to stay at one of the holiday cottages. The Dorset holiday cottages provide you with unparalleled comfort and unlimited adventure opportunities. The adventure park is one place where you can get your fill of adventure. You can climb up the 40 ft rope ladder and swing into the huge rope net or you can zip wire through the trees. If you are up to the challenge, you can try the high wire rope bridge. The park is open from 26th March through 31st October and during weekends in February. After a day at the park you will surely appreciate the excellent comfort of the holiday cottages.
Kingston Maurward Garden and Animal Park
One of the disadvantages of living in the city is that you may not be able to keep pets at home. However, while enjoying a fantastic vacation in a Dorset holiday cottage you can take a trip to the Kingston Maurward Garden and Animal Park. Located close to the holiday cottages the park is a great place to come with the whole family. The park has a wide collection of animals like the miniature Shetland ponies, Guinea pigs, rabbits and donkeys. The park also organises several special events. You will also be able to explore the beautiful lake opposite the 18th century home. The gardens are open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. January to December.
